choose your own adventure | thursday night out | Jason Heidemann choose your own adventure | thursday night out | Jason Heidemann

As you amble through the city streets you consider what might be on the roster for a rental tonight. Perhaps you're in the mood for a Criterion classic like Troop Beverly Hills with Shelly Long or Bride of Chucky 3-disc DVD with bonus features. Maybe you'll rent something more lighthearted like The Sorrow and the Pity. You'll probably just end up renting porn as always. But if that's the case, why not just go out the town for the real deal?

Turn back to page 1 and choose an adventure that might land you a little action.

Or push ahead for porn by turning to page 16.

but it was in nyc. here are the highlights:

• My friend got up from the park bench 5 seconds *before* the pigeon put shit where she was sitting.

• We decided *not* to go to the Mouse Bloc rally, where if we had gone we would have 1. been late and 2. gotten arrested.

• we decided *to join* the spontaneous march leaving the park. Spent the next 24 in the slammer.
