subject: chicagos motorcycle scene date: 03.04.2004 name: ajay comment: i agree with the statements you made in your article, and it seems that the "scene" or whatever you want to call it has turned from a stereotypical "biker" to whoever, and i mean whoever, can afford a ducati or a harley (we won't even get into the fullerton/western crotch rocket crowd)...and those aren't the people they used to be...people who built and rode motorcycles because it was a passion...now if you have 10 grand you can own a 100 horsepower death machine and not even know how to start it...i think more people should take advantage of the short spring/summer we have here and not be cooped up in a car, but for god's sake take a class or do something, because you can lose alot of skin in a pair of shorts at 35 m.p.h...i could go on for a while, but i'll shut the fuck up.
