"Carnisaur Vs. Unicorn"
Friends Forever
from Killball, released 2003 on Load Records.

There are those who drink too much pop, who gorge themselves on it. These people are tech support. But in third grade, these little energy transformers sat in the back of the classroom, illustrating page after page of elaborate gore. Typical scenes included impossibly muscular warriors clad in only the thinnest strip of animal pelt with a talon necklace and an immense laser cannon the size of a car. These characters often engaged in battles of epic proportions, matched only by Beowulf armed with duel rocket launchers and accompanied by some sort of flying tiger with the head of a shark thing. They were characters whose only goal was to destroy entire city blocks, though whose creator couldn't finish a single page in their vocabulary workbooks without illustrating a gun-laden fighter plane spraying war in every direction. Friends Forever may be the aforementioned tech support. The troupe has made a name for itself traveling and performing out of their van whenever and wherever the mood strikes them. This go-for-it attitude also landed them a their own documentary released by Plexifilm, merging their love of fast loud noise with their love of full-contact sports and their passion for Fangoria Magazine to create an album aesthetic all their own. Welcome to Killball, the ultra-gore sport of the future where teams decapitate each other and score points. The album plays through an entire championship match, moving from murderous feedback and blitzkrieg keyboard work to empty sounds with no playback, but instead a nice halftime number. This song introduces the two teams preparing to battle for the glory of being the Killball champion, Carnisaur versus Unicorn. Guess who wins.
